Hamburg International Airport

The Airport Lounge, which overlooks the pier and the apron, is an inviting and restful environment for passengers to relax while waiting for a flight. Amenities include a bar serving a wide range of soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and snacks; TV screens and a comprehensive selection of international newspapers.

Monitors showing the latest passenger information, comfortable desks, Internet access and Wireless LAN are provided for your convenience.

The "General Aviation Terminal" has its own approach road (via "Weg beim Jäger", near the Lufthansa Base, opposite the P6 car park) and its own terminal, making urgent flights much simpler to arrange. The 450 m² terminal has a flight-preparation room, a conference room and a VIP Lounge and is open from 6.00 to 23.00 hrs throughout the year.

Around 100 single and double-engined propeller aircraft park in the 5,800 m² hangars of the GAT, which also houses helicopters and small jets.

With an average of 50 take-offs and landings a day, the General Aviation Terminal contributes considerably to traffic at Hamburg Airport and is an important addition to standard scheduled traffic with large aircraft.
